How much does it cost to post an ad on this site?

There is no charge to post a classified ad on this site except for posts in the Online/Nationwide Location with a posting fee of $4.99

How do I post an Ad?

It's easy to post an ad on this site.
Click the "post ad" tab that can be found on the top of every page or on the post ad link found on the left side of a region's home page.
Be sure to verify that you are placing your ad in your local area.
You can edit your city at the beginning of the posting process.
We will then guide you through our available listing categories until you reach the category that is most appropriate for your listing.
You will then be asked for specific information about your listing.

I have deleted my activation Email, How do I retrieve it?

You will see a link for Resend Links in the footer area.
Click on that and the system will ask for your email address and send you your activation and edit links again.
Of course you will need to use the same email address you used when you posted your ad.

How many ads can I place?

You can post as many ads as you like on this site.
However, each ad must be unique. Duplicate ads and/or spamming our website will result in the deletion of all your ads.

How many pictures can I post with my ad?

You can post up to four photos with your ad.

How do I edit or delete a classified ad posting?

You will need to go to the activation Email and click the web address under the "edit/delete your post later" instructions.

How often can I post?

You can post as often as you like, as long as each classified ad is unique from previous ads you have posted.

Can I post an ad in more than one city?

This site caters to your local community and we ask that you post your classified ad in the city that is closest to your location.
Posting your ad in mulitple cities may result in the deletion of all of your ads.

How long does my listing stay posted on this site?

Cars & Vehicles: 90 Days
Community: 180 Days
For Sale: 90 Days
Jobs: 90 Days
Real Estate: 180 Days
Services: 180 Days
Work at Home: 180 Days

Events: 90 Days

What is a Featured Ad and how much does it cost?

Featured Ads are a great way of giving your classified ad post more exposure.
Featured ads are placed top-most in each category and are shown highlighted.
We also rotate all featured ads on the home page for your city.

The cost to feature your ad can be found in the chart below.

30 Days: $5.99
60 Days: $10.49
90 Days: $14.39
180 Days: $25.19

You can feature your ad by selecting selecting the number of days you would like your listing to stay featured.
The drop down box to feature you ad can be found at the bottom of the post ad page.
If you have already published your ad and it was published via your confirmation email, click the "edit ad" link found in your confirmation email.
Once you are on the "edit ad" page, click the "promote your ad" link found on the top right of the page.
You will see the drop down box to feature your ad.

What are Extended Events/Ads and how much does it cost?

Extended Events/Ads allow your classified post to stay listed on the site longer than the standard listing period.
This is beneficial if you do not want to come back and place a new event/ad every 90-180 days.
Extended events/ads are especially helpful for those posting events.

The cost to extend your ad/event can be found in the chart below.

60 Days: $4.99
90 Days: $6.89
180 Days: $11.99
270 Days: $16.49

You can extend your ad/event by selecting selecting the number of days you would like your listing to stay posted.
The drop down box to extend you ad/event can be found at the bottom of the post ad page.
If you have already published your ad/event and it was published via your confirmation email, click the "edit ad" link found in your confirmation email.
Once you are on the "edit ad" page, click the "promote your ad/event" link found on the top right of the page.
You will see the drop down box to extend your ad/event.

How long does it take for my ad to appear on this site?

Your ad will appear as soon as you click the publish link found in your confirmation email.

My pictures will not upload?

There could be several reasons why your pictures are not uploading properly. The most common reasons are the type of photo and image size.

  • Please make sure that your picture is in either .jpg or .gif format. These are the only types of picture formats we accept.
  • Image size must be under 200KB. If your image is over the maximum allowed size, please resample your photo and try again.

    Is my email visible to the public?

    You have three choices when it comes to how we you use your email in your classified post.

  • Do not display my email - If you choose this option, users will be unable to contact you through our website.
    You will need to put contact information, such as your phone number or website, within your post if you choose this option.
  • Do not display my email, but allow users to contact me through the contact form. - (Recommended)
    If you choose this option users will contact you through our anonymous form on the details page of your classified post.
  • Display my email on the site - If you choose this option, users will be able to see your email address on the details page of your classified post.

    What kind of items and activities are prohibited on this site?

    Before we get into all the particulars of what kind of activities are prohibited on this site,
    we would like to share with you what kind of online community we are trying to build.
    Our community is built upon integrity, trust, respect, and decency. We believe in the golden rule of treating others as we like to be treated.
    To maintain our core values and beliefs, we prohibit the following activities on this site.

    General

  • Posting an ad if you are not located in the United States.
  • Posting duplicate ads. Each ad must be unique from other ads you have previously posted.
  • Posting an ad that is libel or slanderous.
  • Posting an item that is illegal to own in your State.
  • Posting a multi-level marketing offer.
  • Posting pornographic movies, adult toys, job listings for adult film stars, nude photos.
  • Posting an ad that is discriminatory or offensive to our community.
  • Posting an ad that uses profanity or vulgar language.
  • Infringing the rights of third parties. This includes, but is not limited to, infringing on intellectual property rights such as copyright and trademark.
  • Posting an ad that encourages others to break the law.

    This site reserves the right to delete any post that does not comply with our terms of use.
    If you encounter a post that violates our policies, then please flag it or you may contact us if you feel it's urgent that we know about the post.

    Specific items and services we prohibit:

  • Alcoholic Beverages
  • Blood, Bodily Fluids, and Body Parts
  • Burglary Tools
  • Counterfeit currency
  • Counterfeit items - These would include items such as Prada, Gucci, Polo, Rolex, etc.
  • Embargoed Goods
  • Escort services that offer or indicate sexual services
  • Illegal drugs
  • Illegal Services
  • Illegal telecommunication and electronics equipment such as access cards, radar scanners, traffic signal control devices or cable descrambler.
  • Hazardous Materials including but not limited to radioactive, toxic and explosive materials.
  • Fireworks, Destructive Devices and Explosives.
  • Identity Documents, Personal Financial Records & Personal Information.
  • Lottery Tickets, Sweepstakes Entries and Slot Machines
  • Material that is obscene or pornographic. Adult in nature or harmful to minors.
  • Miracle Cures. Posting is not permitted for the promotion of unsubstantiated cures, remedies or other items marketed as quick health fixes.
  • Offensive Material
  • Pictures or images that contain nudity
  • Prescription Drugs and Devices
  • Prostitution ads
  • Recalled items
  • Stolen property
  • Tobacco products
  • Weapons- All types of firearms, switchblade knives, martial arts weapons, sniper scopes, silencers, ammunition, large capacity magazines, BB guns, tear gas or stun guns. Specific job ads we prohibit:
  • Muli-level marketing or pyramid schemes.
  • Business or job opportunities that require upfront or periodic payments.
  • Business or job opportunities that require recruitment of other members, distributors or agents.
  • Ads that are not clear regarding what type of work would be required.
  • Ads for employment that are stating a preference or requirement based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability.

    Job listing requirements:

  • All ads must be for paid employment.
  • All ads must include a clear description of position offered & duties to be performed.

    Why was my ad removed?

    Your ad was removed from this site because either it expired, was flagged by this site's users for abuse, or was removed by one of our editors for violating our terms of use.

    Here are some of the top reasons your ad may be removed.
    We have zero tolerance for any of the items below.
    If your ad was removed for any of the reasons below, please do not contact us to ask us why.
    We will not respond to your email, nor will we debate you on whether or not your ad should be allowed.
    We are building a high quality classified website that our community members can enjoy using without having to waste time sifting through a bunch of junk ads.

  • Ad Promoted Illegal Activity - Illegal activity is strongly prohibited on this site.
  • Junk Ads - Ads that promote MLM companies, get rich quick schemes, the ad links to an affiliate website, spam, auction link.
  • Miscategorized - Please choose only one category post your ad in.
  • Posting Personal Information - Publishing someone's personal information is strictly prohibited.
  • Posting Pornographic Images or Links - This site is a family friendly website and we do not allow pornagraphic listings.
  • Escort Ads - We do not allow escort ads of any kind.
  • Ad Posted in Multiple Cities - This site is a local classified website and your ad should be posted in the city that is closest to your location.
    If you post your ad in multiple cities all ads will be removed.
